Terms of Service

In plain English:

The service is free and needs no account. You get a daily free quota, and free downloads include a small watermark. Pages you make are for personal, non-commercial use — home, classroom, family, and gifts; commercial use is not included in the free tier and is planned as a paid option later. Only upload photos and text you have the rights to use, and do not try to generate other people's branded characters or anything illegal. The full terms below are the binding version.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of pagecolorai.com (the "Service"), operated by the PageColor AI team ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service provides three free, no-sign-up tools that generate printable coloring pages: (a) text prompt to coloring page, (b) uploaded photo to coloring page, and (c) name to coloring page. Outputs are provided as PNG and PDF downloads.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. Children under 13 may use generated coloring pages under the supervision of a parent or teacher, but may not submit personal information.

3. Free tier, quota, and watermark

  • The Service is free and requires no account.
  • A daily usage quota applies, enforced per IP address and browser fingerprint. Quota limits may change; the current limit is shown in the product.
  • Free-tier downloads include a visible watermark. This is disclosed wherever we describe the Service as free. Removing watermarks, and other paid options, may be offered in a future paid tier.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

4. Your content and uploads

  • You retain whatever rights you hold in photos you upload and text you enter.
  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your uploads and prompts solely to operate the Service for you, including safety moderation, generation or conversion, and delivery of your coloring page. The app's processing and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
  • You represent and warrant that you own or have permission to use anything you upload, and that your uploads do not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights.

5. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not upload, enter, or generate:

  • Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or invasive of privacy.
  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, or violent content, including any sexualized depiction of minors. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited. The Service uses automated safety screening and may block content or requests. We may take additional action where required by applicable law.
  • Content depicting real people without their consent (other than images of yourself or your family members that you have the right to use).
  • Prompts or uploads intended to reproduce third-party branded characters, logos, or other protected intellectual property (for example, well-known cartoon, film, or game characters). Matching text prompts may be automatically blocked.
  • Attempts to bypass the quota, scrape the Service, interfere with its operation, or use outputs to train competing models at scale.

Violation may result in blocked requests and denial of access.

6. Generated output — what you can and cannot assume

  • As between you and us, you may use coloring pages you generate for personal, non-commercial use (home, classroom, family, gifts).
  • v0 does not include a commercial-use license. Commercial use (resale, inclusion in products for sale, print-on-demand, KDP/books for sale) is not authorized under these Terms and is planned as a paid-tier feature with separate license terms.
  • Outputs are generated or transformed by automated systems. We do not warrant that any output is free of third-party rights or suitable for any particular purpose. See the AI Content & Copyright Disclaimer at /ai-content-disclaimer, which is part of these Terms.
  • Similar prompts may produce similar outputs for different users; you acknowledge outputs are not unique to you.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — its design, code, templates, and site content (excluding your uploads and your generated outputs) — belongs to us or our licensors. Site sample images are self-generated or properly licensed; you may not copy the site or its templates.

8. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the work identified, the material's location, your contact details, and a good-faith statement to support@pagecolorai.com. We will review and respond in accordance with applicable law, including removal where appropriate.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that generated outputs will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, the PageColor AI team WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (WHICH IS ZERO FOR THE FREE TIER), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of content you upload or submit, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
