Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of pagecolorai.com (the "Service"), operated by the PageColor AI team ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service provides four capabilities: (a) Online Coloring, a manual browser tool for coloring an app-provided line-art page or a supported SVG line-art file; (b) text prompt to coloring page; (c) Photo AI, an AI conversion tool that turns an eligible user's photo into coloring-page line art through remote AI processing, followed by browser-local repair and fill testing; and (d) name to coloring page. Photo AI lets the user crop, convert, repair visible gaps, and test selected fill areas. It is not an identity-preserving illustration service and does not guarantee that every boundary or region will be reconstructed or closed. The user is responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for the photo and the material it depicts. Online Coloring does not automatically color an SVG and selecting a supported SVG there does not by itself send the file to an AI generation or moderation provider.

Online Coloring temporarily uses first-party browser storage to move a page into the editor and to autosave work in progress. Browser-only work remains local unless you explicitly choose a signed-in Save. That Save sends the complete line-art SVG, a PNG thumbnail, source details, palette choice, and coloring operations to the Service for private account storage. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for the exact storage contents, keys, and retention behavior.

The Service also offers Free and optional paid access. In Phase 1, Plus adds only: (a) 300-DPI watermark-free PNG and PDF exports for artwork created in Online Coloring; (b) all cleared subscription theme palettes released while Plus is active; and (c) unlimited cross-device cloud saves, subject to a Fair Use soft cap of 5,000 saved artworks per account. Plus does not include generation credits, generation HD exports, batch generation, commercial-use rights, or KDP tools. Other plans may be shown as unavailable and do not create a right to purchase or receive their proposed features.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. Children under 13 may use generated or colored pages under the supervision of a parent or teacher, but may not submit personal information. Photo AI requires users to be 18 or older and is available only on plans that include generation credits.

3. Free and paid access

• Local Online Coloring and name coloring pages need no sign-in. The text generator requires Google sign-in and uses the limit shown in that product. Photo AI conversion requires Google sign-in and a Pro or Studio plan. A signed-in Free user may explicitly save up to 3 private coloring artworks.
• Photo AI conversions cost 32 generation credits per successful conversion. Credits are reserved when a conversion starts, settled when a usable result is ready, and restored in full if the conversion fails. Credits are not cash and failures do not produce cash refunds.
• Free Online Coloring downloads are screen-resolution PNG files with a visible PageColor AI watermark and footer credit. Plus adds 300-DPI watermark-free PNG and PDF exports for Online Coloring artwork only.
• Plus includes unlimited cross-device cloud saves, subject to a Fair Use soft cap of 5,000 saved artworks per account. If Plus ends while you have more than 3 saved artworks, existing artworks remain available, but a new distinct cloud save is blocked until the account is below the Free limit or Plus returns.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, subject to applicable law and the paid-period commitments below.

4. Plus subscriptions and automatic renewal

Plus costs $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year. Plus renews automatically at the price and billing cycle shown at checkout until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Account → Billing → Manage subscription, in the same self-service way you signed up—no email or phone call is required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period: Plus benefits stay active until the end date shown in your billing settings, and then your plan returns to Free. Canceling does not delete your account or saved artwork.

We do not offer a free trial for Plus. New subscriptions start at the full price for the first billing period. You cannot switch between monthly and yearly Plus, or between different paid plans, inside your account in Phase 1. To change the billing cycle, cancel the current subscription, keep access through the end of the paid period, and purchase the other cycle after it ends.

5. Refunds and one-time purchases

Subscription payments are for the current billing period and are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where we determine, after support review, that a verified service failure on our side prevented you from receiving paid benefits. If we issue a full refund for a subscription charge, the related Plus access ends when the refund is completed and verified. Partial refunds are not self-service and are reviewed case by case. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. Nothing here limits a refund right under mandatory applicable law.

The Launch Palette Pack is a separate one-time $9.99 purchase that permanently unlocks the launch palette collection while the order grant remains valid. You may request a full refund within 14 days by contacting support@pagecolorai.com, provided the pack has not been materially used; requests are reviewed manually. A completed full refund permanently removes pack access. Partial refunds are reviewed case by case. A payment dispute suspends pack access during review. Access is restored only if the dispute is resolved in our favor; otherwise it is revoked. Refunds and disputes never delete saved artwork.

6. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry the charge automatically for a limited time. Plus remains active only until the end of the billing period already paid for. It is suspended if payment is not completed by then and restored after payment succeeds and access is verified. Update your payment method from Account → Billing. Payment failure never deletes your account or saved artwork.

7. Fair Use for cloud saves

“Unlimited” cloud saves are subject to a Fair Use soft cap of 5,000 saved artworks per account. If saving activity appears abnormal, including automated bulk saving, we will notify you by email and review the activity before taking action. After review, we may suspend the unlimited-save feature for abuse. You may appeal by replying to the notice. We never bulk-delete saved artwork, and a Fair Use action does not delete existing artwork.

8. Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in US dollars. Where applicable law requires taxes on your purchase, any tax amount will be shown before you complete payment. You are responsible for taxes that apply under the laws of your jurisdiction.

9. Billing support

For billing questions, refund requests, or cancellation help, contact support@pagecolorai.com. We aim to respond within five (5) business days; this is a goal, not a guaranteed response time.

10. Your content and uploads

• You retain whatever rights you hold in photos you submit for Photo AI conversion and supported SVG line-art files you select, text and names you enter, and your manual coloring contributions. This does not give you rights in underlying line art or other material that you do not own or have permission to use.
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process the normalized photo solely to perform the requested Photo AI conversion, and to process prompts and coloring work solely to operate the Service for you, including applicable text safety moderation, generation, delivery, browser operation, and — only when you explicitly choose a signed-in Save — private storage and retrieval of the final artwork. This license does not grant us commercial merchandising rights or a right to publish your artwork.
• For local, unsaved Online Coloring, your browser reads and validates a supported SVG line-art file and holds the handoff and work in progress in browser storage. Merely selecting, uploading, or locally coloring that SVG does not transmit it to our app servers or AI providers. If you explicitly choose Save while signed in, you direct us to receive and privately store the complete line-art SVG, PNG thumbnail, source details, palette choice, coloring operations, and related timestamps as described in the Privacy Policy. Saved artworks are private and are not published or publicly shared by the Service.
• You represent and warrant that you own or have permission to use anything you upload or submit, and that your uploads and coloring work do not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights. For Photo AI you represent that you are 18 or older, that you own or have rights to the photo, and that the photo shows no people and no prohibited content listed in the Service.

11. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not upload, enter, color, or generate:

• Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or invasive of privacy.
• Sexually explicit, pornographic, or violent content, including any sexualized depiction of minors. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited. We may block content or requests and take additional action where required by applicable law.
• Content depicting real people without their consent (other than images of yourself or your family members that you have the right to use).
• Prompts or uploads intended to reproduce third-party branded characters, logos, or other protected intellectual property (for example, well-known cartoon, film, or game characters). Matching text prompts may be automatically blocked.
• For Photo AI specifically: photos of minors; recognizable people or faces; intimate content; IDs or sensitive documents; health or financial information; addresses, license plates, or precise-location details; private or confidential screens; illegal or harmful content; copyrighted characters or logo-heavy assets; or any photo you do not have the rights to use.
• Attempts to bypass the quota or save limit, scrape the Service, interfere with its operation, or use outputs to train competing models at scale.

Text prompts may receive automated safety screening as described in the Privacy Policy. Photo AI conversions are checked by the AI provider's safety systems; we do not separately screen photo uploads, and our prohibitions are enforced through your confirmations and provider enforcement. Supported SVG line-art files in Online Coloring instead receive local file-type, size, and content validation. Those SVG controls reduce risk but do not guarantee that every harmful file is impossible or will be detected, and they are not a complete intellectual-property review.

Violation may result in blocked requests and denial of access.

12. Generated and colored output — what you can and cannot assume

• As between you and us, you may use coloring pages you generate and artworks you manually color for personal, non-commercial use (home, classroom, family, gifts), subject to any rights in the underlying material.
• Paid plans in the current phase do not include a commercial-use license unless expressly stated in separate license terms. Plus does not authorize commercial use. Resale, inclusion in products for sale, print-on-demand, or KDP/books for sale is not authorized under these Terms.
• Some coloring pages and underlying line art are generated or transformed by automated systems. Photo AI line art is generated by automated systems; it may be inaccurate, alter details, or be similar to results produced for others. We do not warrant uniqueness, copyright protection, or non-infringement. Review and repair the result before use. Manually coloring an app-provided or uploaded SVG is not itself AI generation or automatic coloring. We do not warrant that any generated output, uploaded line art, or colored artwork is free of third-party rights or suitable for any particular purpose. See the AI Content & Copyright Disclaimer at /ai-content-disclaimer, which is part of these Terms.
• Similar prompts may produce similar generated outputs for different users; you acknowledge generated outputs are not unique to you.

13. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — its design, code, templates, and site content (excluding your uploads, your manual coloring contributions, and your generated outputs) — belongs to us or our licensors. Site sample images are self-generated or properly licensed; you may not copy the site or its templates.

14. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the work identified, the material's location, your contact details, and a good-faith statement to support@pagecolorai.com. We will review and respond in accordance with applicable law, including removal where appropriate.

15. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that generated or colored outputs will meet your expectations, or that local browser storage will always remain available.

16. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, the PageColor AI team WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100 OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (WHICH IS ZERO IF YOU ARE ON THE FREE TIER), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of content you upload or submit, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

19. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
