This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies pagecolorai.com (the "Service") uses, why, and how you can control them. "Similar technologies" includes first-party localStorage and sessionStorage used by Online Coloring.
Photo AI conversions do not use cookies or browser storage for the photo itself. The conversion runs on our servers through Cloudflare and OpenAI as described in the Privacy Policy. After a conversion, the existing Online Coloring handoff and work-in-progress storage (acp_coloring_handoff_v1, acp_coloring_wip_v1) may hold the derived line art and your coloring work — never the original photo.
1. What we use
1.1 Strictly necessary (cannot be switched off through the Service)
- acp_client_fingerprint_v1 — a random first-party localStorage identifier sent with generation requests and combined with your IP address to enforce the daily free quota and prevent abuse. It persists until you clear this site's browser storage.
- acp_daily_quota_v1 — a first-party localStorage daily counter used to show quota state in the browser. It is overwritten when used on a new day and removed when the app reads it as stale or malformed.
- acp_coloring_wip_v1 — first-party localStorage used to autosave browser work in progress. It contains the complete line-art SVG, source details, palette identifier, coloring operations, and last-updated timestamp. It remains until later work overwrites it or you clear this site's storage.
- acp_coloring_handoff_v1 — first-party sessionStorage used to move a coloring page into /online-coloring. It temporarily contains the complete line-art SVG, source details, palette identifier, coloring operations, and last-updated timestamp. The editor removes a valid handoff after successfully reading it; otherwise it generally remains until the tab or browser session ends or you clear this site's storage.
- Sign-in session cookie — an encrypted, signed token (JWT) that keeps you signed in with your Google account. It is removed when you sign out or clear this site's cookies.
The two coloring-storage keys are first-party browser storage. They are not analytics, are not used for cross-site tracking, and are not transmitted to our app servers merely because the browser stores them. PageColor AI does not send their contents to an analytics or tracking provider. A separate signed-in Save action transmits artwork data as described in the Privacy Policy; browser autosave and that explicit cloud Save are different actions.
1.2 No product analytics in v0
PageColor AI does not load an analytics provider or collect product analytics events in v0. Cloudflare may still process ordinary request, security, and infrastructure logs to deliver and protect the Service. This infrastructure processing does not turn acp_coloring_wip_v1 or acp_coloring_handoff_v1 into analytics or cross-site tracking.
1.3 What we do NOT use (v0)
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social-media tracking pixels.
- No cross-site tracking.

3. Your choices
- Browser controls: you can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking or clearing quota identifiers does not guarantee a fresh quota because server enforcement also uses IP-based identity signals, and it may make generation tools unavailable. Blocking coloring storage may prevent handoff or autosave. Clearing acp_coloring_wip_v1 permanently deletes that browser work in progress, and clearing acp_coloring_handoff_v1 removes any unconsumed handoff; we cannot recover either browser copy unless you separately downloaded or explicitly saved the artwork to your account.
4. Changes and contact
Payments and billing management use Stripe-hosted pages. Cookies or similar technologies set on those pages are controlled by Stripe under its own policies. PageColor AI does not currently load Stripe.js or Stripe payment cookies on its own pages. If implementation changes introduce payment-related cookies or similar technologies on PageColor AI pages, we will update this inventory before they are enabled. Questions: support@pagecolorai.com.
