Cookie Policy
Effective date: 2026-08-24
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies pagecolorai.com (the "Service") uses, why, and how you can control them.
1. What we use
1.1 Strictly necessary (cannot be switched off)
- acp_client_fingerprint_v1 — a random first-party localStorage identifier sent with generation requests and combined with your IP address to enforce the daily free quota and prevent abuse. It persists until you clear this site's browser storage.
- acp_daily_quota_v1 — a first-party localStorage daily counter used to show quota state in the browser. It is overwritten when used on a new day and removed when the app reads it as stale or malformed.
1.2 Analytics (optional)
- Plausible — collects aggregate usage events: page views, tool start/success/error, and download clicks. We use this to understand which pages and tools are used and to fix problems. We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles.
1.3 What we do NOT use (v0)
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social-media tracking pixels.
- No cross-site tracking.
2. Cookie table
| Name / type | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| acp_client_fingerprint_v1 (localStorage) | pagecolorai.com | quota enforcement and abuse prevention | until site storage is cleared |
| acp_daily_quota_v1 (localStorage) | pagecolorai.com | browser-side daily quota display | current day; stale/malformed state is overwritten or removed |
| analytics script/events | Plausible at plausible.shipsolo.io | aggregate usage measurement | subject to analytics configuration and request logs |
3. Your choices
- Browser controls: you can block or delete site storage in your browser settings. Blocking or clearing the quota identifiers does not guarantee a fresh quota because server enforcement also uses IP-based identity signals, and it may make the tools unavailable.
- Analytics opt-out: Plausible is configured without advertising or cross-site tracking cookies; to opt out, block the analytics script from plausible.shipsolo.io with a browser content blocker. You may also enable your browser's "Do Not Track"/Global Privacy Control signal; we treat Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of any non-essential tracking where required by law.
4. Changes and contact
We will update this page if the cookie inventory changes (for example, if a future paid tier adds login or payment cookies). Questions: support@pagecolorai.com.
