Clear, well-lit photos with one main subject work most reliably — a face, a pet, a house, a favorite toy. Busy backgrounds and very dark photos produce busier line art, so crop in on the subject when you can.

Under current US Copyright Office guidance, purely AI-generated images may not be eligible for copyright protection, and we cannot guarantee that any output is protectable, unique, or free of third-party claims. If you convert your own photo, the result is a transformation of your image and you keep whatever rights you hold in the original.
